So my current solution for IE6 is to drop support for it, but not entirely. If I can get something to work in IE6 I will, but I’m not going to avoid using transparent PNG’s or valid CSS. I refuse to let IE6 hold back the internet anymore (as much as I can help it).
I’m also going to be putting a little yellowish bar at the top of every page. It’s like the bar that comes down to tell you about ActiveX. It’s going to inform you that your browser needs upgraded and link you to this page. It’s my custom designed IE6 upgrade information page. If you’d like to use it on your site please feel free, however please don’t chop up my images and put your own page together using my text/design but leaving out my logo… that’s just mean.
maybe you should have an image showing what the website should look
like. compared to what they are seeing.
I thought about that, but then I’d have to make a page for each
website it’s used on. That would make for a lot more work. Maybe
version 2.0…
