Thanks for visiting my new website! I like to write, take pictures, design things, and break fix computers. I used to have a lot of websites and I would post different things to each of them. This website is my way of creating one place where I can post everything. Eventually, I even intend to put my design portfolio here.
What Do You Blog About?
I blog about all sorts of things. My interests include theology, photography, graphic and web design, telling funny stories, making short films, computers, phones, and a host of other things that I’ve probably forgotten to mention. You can expect that I’ll eventually blog about everything here.
Why Do You Blog?
That’s a great question. I haven’t really got a good answer. I imagine that some people might find the things I write about helpful, others might simply find certain things (like pictures) entertaining, and still more will like the opportunity to prove me wrong on issues of theology. I do a lot of writing in my free time, so it just made sense to me to put my writings online where people could read it and interact with me about it.
Something’s Broken…
You’re probably right. I designed this site myself and I’ve been in the process of slowly coding and debugging it. I released the site before everything was done because I wanted people to have access to certain things (especially the “Giving the Sense” section). Some things will just break on certain browsers because I forgot to test them. Some parts of the site just aren’t finished, so you’ll get “Page not found” errors. If you find a problem, do please contact me about it.
Please note, though, that I haven’t really done any testing on Internet Explorer version 8 or earlier. If you are using Internet Explorer at all, I would suggest switching to something like Chrome or Firefox. They are both much faster than Internet Explorer and just tend to work better.
Any Ground Rules for Commenting?
Just one: “be nice.” I will inevitably blog about something controversial and you may end up disagreeing. That’s fine. Just remember that the person you are arguing with—be it me or someone else—is still a human being made in the imago Dei1 and deserves your respect… regardless of how stupid I might be.
What Fonts Did You Use?
I’m so glad you asked. The headings are done in Adobe Caslon Pro and the body text is done in Museo. I use Typekit to embed them.
- Latin: “Image of God.” See Genesis 1:26.↵
