It’s time for a new series! I’m planning to post a collection of my favorite links each week. This might be links I came across looking for something, links I saw on Twitter, or even links you guys submit. I’m hoping to post a list every Saturday, but we’ll see how things go. I decided to do this on Tuesday, so there aren’t a lot of links for this week. Hopefully, I’ll have more in coming weeks.
- ESV Study Bible for Kindle $8.52
– If you want to get a study Bible but don’t have a lot of money, this is probably your best bet. You don’t even need a Kindle. If you have an iPhone, Android phone, iPod touch, iPad, Android tablet, PC, or Mac (phew!) you can download the Kindle app and use your device like a Kindle. It’s well worth the $8.
- Tim Keller on Marriage at Google – My friend Corey told me to watch this. It’s super helpful. Google invited Tim Keller to tell them about his book The Meaning of Marriage.
Watch the video, buy the book, then buy me a copy because I’d like to read it, too.
- Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones on Preaching and Preachers – This kind of goes along with the Giving the Sense series I just taught. Lloyd-Jones’ book has been out for a while, but this new edition features reflections from guys like Piper, Keller, DeYoung, etc. Definitely on my “to read” list once it comes out.
- Google Earth is getting ridiculous –While this looks really, really cool… Please tell me I’m not the only one who is at least mildly creeped out by Google Earth, Street View, and the like.
- Free Lightroom 4 Beta – Normally, I use Adobe Camera RAW to process pictures and Adobe Bridge to sort through them. Lightroom 4 Beta is wonderful and I now use it almost exclusively. I rarely have to open Photoshop to work with pictures anymore. I can’t say enough good about it. Go try it. It’s free until the end of March.
- Spurgeon’s Morning Devotional for Today – I enjoy reading Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening devotional. This morning’s reading was really helpful.
