About Me
Welcome to my website! My name is David and I love Jesus. I’m a student at Moody Bible Institute in Spokane, WA. I like to design things, make websites, take pictures, and write in my blog. This website is an outlet for me to express those things.
A Christian
As a Christian, I believe that God created all things. I also believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice; I believe that our sin is much worse than we figure, earning us eternal punishment. I believe that the only perfect person to ever live was Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect life and died in my place, for my sin; He then rose from death three days later. I am saved by God’s grace and through faith in Jesus alone from my sin and God’s punishment.
A Student
As I said above, I am a student at Moody Bible Institute in Spokane, WA. My major is Biblical Studies. I want to learn about the Bible, its context, and the languages in which it was originally written so that I can better teach and appropriate it. My long-term goal is church planting, but we’ll see where God leads in the next few years.
A Designer
I started using tools like Photoshop when I was in middle school. I wasn’t very good at first, but kept it going as a hobby, using mostly open source tools. Eventually, I got better at it and started freelancing. Today, I still like to design things and I’m usually looking for work so I can pay for college. I make websites (like this one), logos, business cards, and all sorts of other media.
A Photographer
I’ve only recently started calling myself a photographer. I know that everyone is doing that these days, but I like to think I have earned the right, having done it for about six years. I do photography as a hobby and as a side-business (like graphic design) to help pay for college.
